I can't comment on longevity but most of the LED adapter bulbs I've bought start to deteriorate or fade after a few years. I hope they last longer but only time will tell. They are slightly smaller than the LED bulbs that came with our ceiling fan. It's ok, they fit well and look good. The color is much nicer than the original lamps. My guess is that the originals were 3k soft white (more yellow in comparison) and they are advertised as 4k daylight (much purer white or natural daylight). The room appears brighter with new bulbs that are the same wattage as the base.
