I want to take the time to admire this closet! It arrived a week earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise given the long non-Prime delivery time I put up with. a month ago just because it met all my requirements: - Fitted or complemented my existing furniture and rental kitchen aesthetic - Short enough to *juuust* fit under my kitchen counter to save space - Small enough not to protrude too much ( has an edge a few inches as expected.) I'm a 5'0" female, NOT very strong and the package was easy to take to my house and assemble myself. I've assembled quite a bit of furniture over the past few years and it was by far one of the best build experiences ever - everything fitted together perfectly, all holes and hardware were present and in their expected places, and there were no scratches or other damage to any of the wood or glass parts.The only catch was that one had some crusty orange rust buildup on the hinges attached to the door panel (pictured) No big deal, I unscrewed it and soaked it in Bartender's Friend (citric acid) and there nn cleaned like new. The wood has a warm depth of grain, is hard and looks well finished. To be honest, I was expecting the usual MDF look and sharp corners typical of cheap furniture, but I was pleasantly surprised. Even the thin chipboard back panels felt a little heavier than I expected. I suggest that when assembling this part you only put the large production decal on the outside so as not to damage the inside. I put it together by myself in just a few hours, including the time I soaked the rusty hinge. I am very happy with how it turned out, how it looks as a compact under my counter liquor cabinet! Removing one of the shelves gives you enough space for wine bottles or larger spirits bottles, while the shorter shelf comfortably holds wine glasses or stronger bottles like Grand Mariner, Suntory whiskey or beer.
