1. It required assembly and came together quite easily. There were NO hints at all, not even useless pictograms! 2. Looks good light blue with white. BUT the white felt pads pick up clumps of dust with every step, tracks and drops are soaked up that they stain. There is no way to wash them. Daily cleaning is necessary and I doubt they will last long as they are flimsy. 3. The disabled dog we bought it for is not sure about this and despite being a small dog is too clumsy for him. He's good at climbing stairs, but those small, narrow stairs seem to frighten him. --- Lazy Crazy Healthy Cats LOVE it! It is hollow under the steps, forming a large shelter. 4. Makes a great footstool and extra space for things next to the bed. 5. I would not buy it again. It was overpriced for the flimsy plastic and stickers. I can change my mind if I find others in this price range worse. 6. At first I wanted to send it back but the dog's father said to keep it for the cats to use when they get old and weak. (The cat is only 3 now, the dog is 18!)
