Review on Garmin Vivomove HR: Stylish Hybrid Smartwatch for Both Men and Women - Silver with Tan Italian Leather by Afi Hayden ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The quality is at zero, very sting of the money spent.

As a result, it turns out that this is more a watch with a heart rate monitor than a fitness watch. I would have thought that I wasted money in vain, but this is a gift from my wife. With its pros. Stylish watch, looks very nice and businesslike. There is a heart rate monitor and a sleep tracker. They work in smart mode for almost a week, unlike Apple watches that need to be charged every day. Has cons: Alas, in sports mode they work extremely inaccurately. Doubly disappointing, because initially a lot of time was spent to find the optimal solution. And what happened? In training mode, the pulse is correctly calculated at best 1 out of 4 times. All recommendations like “wipe the sensor” do not work, and they do not sound convincing, because the Apple clock works accurately and without wiping. There was hope for an external sensor, but this watch does not know how to work with it. Another personal drawback of mine is that the belt in the configuration rubs the skin like hell. Right down to the blisters. It’s not so easy to buy a shift, because there is no adequate search for the availability of accessories on the Garmin website, but quarantine helped here - delivery appeared. And the last drawback is that you can’t display the battery charge on the display with a widget, so you often find out that the clock has run down only when it actually runs out. In the end, about the Garmin application and synchronization: the application is stupid, everything that is written about it is pure truth. With a constant connection, it may not be synchronized and at the same time count the steps, that is, there is a connection, as it were. After a month of use, the watch stopped displaying incoming calls, but I somehow got used to it already and get less distracted, although I recently checked that the setting in the application is still enabled.
