Perfect fit. For the price this is a good buy. I wanted soft plastic but with enough rigidity for protection. Ease of installation. A bit weak at the top of the speaker terminals, but that's a compromise between a very thin body and softer material. This feeling comes closest to silicone. Softer plastics have more tactile friction than harder cases and are more comfortable in the hand, meaning I'm less likely to slip the expensive iPad out of my hand! The color is, well, smoky black. Don't expect a color of your iPad to show up when you search for it. I also like that the texture doesn't scratch.
