The item itself is exactly as described and is particularly suitable for high ceilings as described. I actually like plastic bowls (I think we'll have fewer rust problems) and having five of these bowls is very handy. We have a couple of large bottles on each tray and they hold them with no problem. The only reason I gave this four stars is because the instructions are terrible. There were several major moments of frustration before I figured out how to tighten the extension pole so I could get the pole to the exact length I needed. There is a small piece of plastic attached to the plastic screw at the end of the extension pole that needs to fit over the screw so that that end can slip into the top pole and then when you turn the screw it goes into the piece of plastic causing it to expand inside the pole and tightens and holds everything in place for the desired length. Also, the rubber rings that the shelves attach to to hold them in place are thicker at the bottom. Once you notice this it becomes obvious how they should move, but if someone hadn't noticed beforehand it would be very easy to put them all on and then realize that you have to undress them all and put them back on. on the right way. These are all things that should be mentioned in the directions but not specified. Bottom line I would definitely recommend this item - for the price and the fact that it fits higher ceilings and has five shelves it's a really good buy. Once you understand the mechanism, assembling it is not difficult at all. Just be aware that the instructions don't help at all.
