My old rice cooker has finally let me down so I need to find a replacement ASAP as I cook rice almost every day. For me without rice there is no life. I chose this one because I grew up in a family that used the Toshiba brand for most electronic products we had. This rice cooker makes rice cooked taste better on fast mode than normal mode in my old rice cooker. The consistency of the porridge is also better. Whenever I've left my rice warm for more than 5 hours, my old rice cooker has made my rice super dry and turned it into pebbles, but this one still keeps the rice as good as freshly cooked even after 15 hours. Pros: Better quality rice/porridge. Nice and stylish design. Cons: a little clunky
