I bought these two packs of cardboard cat scratching posts for my four cats who get rid of scratching posts very quickly. It comes with a stand, two removable cardboard pieces and a bag of catnip. Before using catnip I put the box on the floor and naturally explored cats who are curious characters. They all immediately wanted to sit in it, so the cats just liked it because it was a box. I pulled out the cardboard and put some catnip underneath and they went to great lengths, rolling and scratching the cardboard. Sometimes you can get catnip that's too old and stale to be effective, but what I got was apparently a good product. When cats use cardboard as a scratching post, they sit in the box and pull on it with their claws. The only downside I found with this product is that there is nothing to hold the cardboard and keep it steady. Every time they grab it with their claws, it moves up with their claws. At first I thought they wouldn't like it because of that or they would rip the cardboard out of the box, but their weight on the back held it back and they didn't seem to interfere with the movement at all. All four have used it extensively every day, so it doesn't wobble a bit during use. Another thing to note is that the description says it's a 2 in 1, meaning there are two pieces of cardboard included. It sounds like you can use what's coming twice, but it's actually reversible. After the cats tear one side, you can flip it and use the back side, making it more like 4 uses in total. Overall we are all very happy with our purchase and would highly recommend it to all cat owners. 5/5 stars
