Poor quality - my new review

I was very excited about this monitor because of its size - 17.3 inches. (Most portable monitors are 15.6" or 20" or larger. There aren't many in between.) When I got the monitor, the picture wasn't the best definition/resolution, but I decided I wouldn't, because I would only use it for voiceover/audio software, no video. And it worked. However when I tried to plug my headphones into the aux jack the sound was sooooo bad. Totally useless, so bad! Couldn't figure out why. After HOURS of surfing the web (the company has no customer service, no email, and no user manual either) I found a problem: the sound drivers were 10 years old! Not cool for a new monitor that advertises the latest technology. I tried a workaround: plugged the aux cable directly into my laptop, routed it to the cockpit, and used the headphones like that. Then the image/display got corrupted. I worked about 3 weeks in the center of the screen, 2 white dots appeared as if the screen had been pierced. There was no image behind the white dots, but the rest of the screen looked normal. It was for me and I sent it back. Luckily Revain is a great company and I haven't bothered with returns at all. In fact, they went out of their way to make it right for me and helped me find the right monitor. I continue to use Revain because of the great customer service. Having a flexible company is HUGE. Unless you care about the headphone/audio jack, though, try finding another 17.3-inch monitor.
