Review on ๐ŸŒง๏ธ MICHELIN Country Dry 2 26x2.00 Black Tyre 2016 - Superior All-Weather Performance for Unmatched Off-Road Adventures by Will Rahman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good for the intended purpose: country roads, easy trails.

Overall a very good tire for city streets and light dry trails. It's very tight on my rims so a quick repair at the track would take a few extra minutes. They performed reasonably well on some serious trails (dry, steep, mostly dirt, some rocky). As expected, they don't glide very well on slopes since they don't have very aggressive lugs. But I'll hold on if you plan ahead. I have suffered from slow leaks when riding off-road due to the typical small spikes in the SoCal brush. I have slime tubes, but I was still going downhill and had a few difficult moments on descents with single track corners before stopping. Add some air for the journey home and you're done. I pulled out the inner tube and pulled a dozen or more small spikes out of the front tire. I find the profile and carcass of the tire a bit thin. I would think about a tire. Overall, best suited for road and fire lanes as well as light trail riding in dry conditions and at a great price. If you live in a bad area for spikes or the infamous NM goats, it's best to add some liners.
