I thought the idea was brilliant. Store lots of stuffed animals that children will inevitably take with them, and create a unique, relaxing place to sit or lie down. They're incredibly strong, thick stuff and I think it would be good to hold the beans if you decide to go that route. For us we packed them with ALL our stuffed animals, then with our extra pillows. Then with extra duvets, bedspreads, quilts, a huge puffy sleeping bag and they still weren't filled. Not even close. I have emptied the entire linen closet in 2 of them and they are still embarrassed to be full. My plan is to buy cheap pillows online and use the soft animal pillows and buy some of my comforters and throws. They have a strong fabric strap so kids can pull them where they want to go, but they're too heavy at the moment. Pillows should make it easier for kids to move from place to place, which is what we wanted. I think they will last and the stitching is strong but easy to sew up if it tears. I definitely recommend it.
