I bought this iron after using it at a friend's house. I have used it exclusively for pressing fabrics used to sew quilts together. The feature I liked the most is the lack of a cord to get in your way. Only a few months after the warranty expired, water began to flow from the tank. I stopped using water in it and used a spray bottle to avoid the risk of water getting into electrical components. Later I noticed that the plastic tank was actually cracked. And the gaskets around the water dispenser began to melt, causing the glued gaskets to fail. Seriously, an iron needs to get hot, but because a critical component like the water tank can't handle the heat, it basically stops working and can pose a fire hazard. It's a shame to pay so much for a product that only lasted a little over 1 year of warranty.
