I have ordered 3 sets of these units from Auto Light Industries Inc. who always have the best price, 2 weeks apart and they are all 100% original OSRAM power supplies. very well packed in bubble wrap. I used OSRAM's verification program to check the serial numbers and also physically checked them for the signature laser welds, smooth quarter lens top and bottom, full length ceramic stem, bulges in the lens holding the capsule, capsule shape, base angle and all that properly aligned. Even if you don't understand all this, just know that Auto Light Industry Inc. sells real lamps. clear lens and 35W ballast. They have a color rendering of around 5500K through a coated lens like the G5 EX or MD2S 5.0 with a 35W ballast; but a true 4800K white light with a touch of warmth using a 45w Hylux ballast with a 5.0 coated lens, that's my setup. Please familiarize yourself with your setup before "looking” at the color output of these lights and understand that blue light is actually horrible to see and will affect oncoming traffic night vision. So if you do them, do so responsibly.
