Review on Samsung BN59-01259B Remote Replacement - Compatible with UN40KU6290, UN50KU6290, UN55KU6290, UN60KU6270 4K UHD TVs by Shawn Schmidt

Funny story. I refuse to pay $80 for a new Samsung remote for my 4k TV. What was delivered deteriorated very quickly. I chose this imitation remote control. I was so unsatisfied with the product. I found that basically if I shake it, it works. It felt that the circuit board inside was lost. At this point, the original Samsung product is already completely dead. And here I am, a year later, shaking the remote to make it work. I was so angry I decided to try the same product a second time as I still didn't want to pay full price for the original. I installed this second remote and it worked great. No shaking is required, but it does take AA batteries instead of AAA batteries. I found this odd, so I double-checked what batteries I needed for the first, which frustrated me on a daily basis. I used the wrong battery the first time. The bouncing I heard wasn't the circuit board but the fact that I was using smaller batteries lol. I felt so stupid I decided to keep both remotes which now work amazingly well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.
