Great mobile solution for beginners and veterans alike

I received this product at a reduced price in exchange for my fair and honest review. If you are new to digital art or looking for an upgrade I highly recommend getting the KAMVAS Pro, I have the 12" because it fits very nicely in my laptop bag (it actually fits in my production's cargo pockets " pants that I wear on set or in the woods), but all KAMVAS Pro devices share the same architecture and functionality. Buttons changed my game a lot, my first pen display didn't have anything like that, so this thing does meinen Workflow durcheinander gebracht, haha. I've ever asked to be in my laptop bag no matter what s video, see below. I'm including a review I made for the shooting, it includes all the thoughts I systematized and wrote into the video. ------------------------------ KAMVAS Pro 12 is a Huion-made graphics tablet with some programmable side, tilt sensitivity and a display with 1080p resolution and excellent colors. Depth. The stylus also doesn't require batteries or charging, which I like because I never thought of charging the stylus on my old display, and the whole setup here can be packed in a laptop bag along with the computer - in fact, I have a great one thick Dell that's just huge and heavy, and this tablet still fits in a bag because it's so compact. Very quick, before we really get into that - I'll be posting a video very soon of me using this particular tablet to create a font based on handwritten notes from an old book so you can see a little more of it, how i actually use it extensively. in this video as soon as it comes out. Basically, I just wanted to share a little bit about my experience with the setup here, as it applies to all viewers, not just illustrators or photographers. Now! Cables Cables are a bit odd - on one end we have HDMI and USB that go into your computer and power cord, while on the other end we just have a USB-C connector that goes into the tablet. I know USB-C can carry graphics, sound, power, and even ethernet, so part of me wonders if this setup will work the way a detachable box works with a simple USB-C cable. This will drain your computer's battery faster, but will be easier on the cable. In any case, the current cable situation is great for me and my computer, although I can see it's impractical unless someone's HDMI and USB ports are close together. However, in this case you probably have at least one USB-C port on your computer, so you can probably use a USB-C hub for it, although I haven't tested this myself. Setup As soon as I plugged it in, it went to the standard secondary display setup, meaning it duplicated my screen on those. I would say that probably most people using such a mobile solution instead of a desktop display would probably use this setting, but my laptop has a 4K screen. So when synced to a 1080p screen it looks really bad and washed out. So I switched it to "expand my ad" mode and everything was fine. But the little function buttons on the side didn't do anything, and after a quick Google search I found that the tablet does indeed have software that needs to be downloaded to fully utilize it. In fact, during installation I found that the attached instructions say this verbatim, this is the very first one. So yes. Anyhow, the program is very intuitive, but I should mention (at least for me) that the program tried to map the tablet to the full range of my two screens together, not just small since I was using it in "" mode. Expand my ads" had . It's not ideal for my purposes haha. But that means I can draw across multiple monitors with the tablet, which is a cool feature even though I never do. Anyway it's very easy to fix, just select the display you want to map the tablet to using this little menu here, it couldn't be easier. Function I have set up my hotkeys a little differently here than from the factory; By default, it's set to zoom in and out on the scrollbar, and these buttons control the size of the brush. This is the undo/back button that allows you to drag across the canvas. I wired it up so that these buttons control the zoom in and out, this scroll bar here controls the size of the brush, this one just does the undo command, and this one resets the entire canvas. I ran some quick tests to verify and can safely say it works very well - it's more responsive and more accurate than my UG-2150 that I use with my desktop computer. I may have to take this tablet's older brother and replace my desktop tablet if it works as well as this one. The default pen was actually TOO responsive for me, but it's very easy to adjust the sensitivity right here in the tablet program, so once adjusted it worked great. I recommend lowering the sensitivity a bit in general - maybe it's just me, I tend to have a heavy hand when painting, but I think the default pressure is a bit hard to control and it's much easier for me. with this curve. As I said, I'll go into a bit more detail on using this font in the font videos, so that's it for now. Overall, I think this tablet is a great example of how far this technology has come in the past few years - when I bought my first interactive flat panel, it cost more than twice as much and it wasn't portable in any way. , has no tilt sensitivity, the pen needs to be charged, it has no built-in functions and it's not even that accurate. My opinion might be a bit biased comparing this to my old technology, but from my own experience it's a great thing. I have a feeling that many people who will be looking at the KAMVAS series are probably either looking for their first graphics tablet, or want to upgrade from one with a display to one without. Personally, I wanted to upgrade to something newer and more portable than my fat old UG 2150, which I wanted to stay on my desk. If you have used KAMVAS Pro 12 and have some tips and tricks you want to share, leave me a comment and tell me about it

Pros
  • Fully laminated anti-reflective glass. With anti-reflection technology, it effectively reduces the harmful effects of glare on the human eye and reduces the distance between the pen tip and the cursor. Feel like drawing on paper and offer the best drawing experience.
Cons
  • Doubtful
