Review on πŸ‘“ Gamilys 3pc pack blue light blocking spring hinged fashion reading glasses (GM6001) for men and women by Thomas Mertz

Inexpensive reading/computer glasses

I'll admit it right away: I can't keep my eye on my reading glasses. Because of this, I've stopped buying prescription glasses and have been buying the 'cheaper' reading glasses available at Revain for years. I buy them in packs of 5 or 6 at a time and if I still have a pair at the end of the year I consider it a success. With my history, I've gotten pretty good at picking the ones that give me the best bang for my buck. As I am also more concerned about my eye health and spend a lot of time on my computer and iPhone, I was excited to try these blue sun protection glasses. As soon as I put the pair on, I was struck by the transparency of the lenses. The zoom seemed spot on too - the words and images on the page and on my screens were exactly what I expected and I didn't feel the need to adjust anything. The frames in this set, especially the blue ones, are very light without feeling fragile. If you're spending less than $5 a pair on reading glasses, you can expect poor quality, but they're just as full-size as the ones I've bought at pharmacies and at Costco for three times the price. Will they last forever? No, but I'll lose her long before it becomes a problem! I've been using them for a few weeks now; The lenses are still clear and not scratched, and I feel like my eyes are less tired after spending a few hours online. Fit wise I'm lucky they match my t-shirt. That said, I have a pretty average "feminine" face and they might be too narrow for someone with a broader face.

Pros
  • Better sleep thanks to less eye strain and headaches
Cons
  • unreliable
