Update: I'm moving and these bags have been incredibly helpful with sorting/organizing and packing. Very glad I bought them. First Review: For the price this is a great deal for a 2 gallon bag but the packaging isn't great and I'm wondering if this is a brand new item or a previously returned item. Pros: - great value for a large quantity - thicker than most lunch bags and about as thick as most gallon bags (not as thick as good freezer bags but they are not freezer bags. I bought regular packs - the seal works well - the set contains 200 bags (the quantity advertised when I bought it. Yes, I counted it) - the size is accurate when the bag is empty 13"x16" Cons: - will not Supplied in a fully sealed package It is in the same type of pouch that you purchase which is easy to open when full and not sealed properly meaning you won't know if it has been tampered with or before was at someone's house Even packing tape to seal it would have been better than how it came Storage (and due to the ongoing pandemic this worries me a lot) I don't know if the bag was opened in transit or if it has already been opened in the warehouse as I cannot say how many times it has been opened. open. There is no adhesive residue or tape holding it closed. There were black dots/particles and other unidentifiable particles between the bags in the package. I would normally assume it was from the packaging itself, but since there was no packaging because they were in the bag and not the box (other than the Revain box), some of these particles may have been there before shipping present. into me There was also a hole in the packaging and I don't know if it was made during shipping or during storage. What makes me wary of using this for food but I think it would be ok? *for the record, the particles weren't in individual packets *they were in between packets. works really well but you must not overload it or it will open up. I wouldn't put liquids or saturated objects in it without fear of spills. I wouldn't marinate any meat in it without putting a bowl or tray under my bag in case it leaks. Supplies, clothing, paper and other small items to protect them from dust and seasonal pests while the items are in the attic and basement and to store food in them. Overall it's worth the price but I had to deduct a star because the packaging is lacking and is a bit of a concern when you're trying to be very clean.
