We have a pretty dodgy St. Bernard that has figured out our fence fasteners. He secured them with padlocks and decided to break through the fence. Twice. It was clear that we needed a means of keeping him in line and also giving him some freedom of movement. Looking around a bit, we stumbled over a giant four-legged stake. Paired with a chain to leash a prestigious Superbeast it has held up for two months now and I have not had to replace a single fence post. Sunbeds only. The chain is strong and the clip is strong. The only issue I've noticed is rusting at the base of the clip after some rain. I hope it's just aesthetics. My wife thinks it will fail in the next two months. I bet her $200 that it wouldn't happen. hope it lasts
