The glass is too thick to see the color inside but very elegant.
You have to stand directly on the lamp to see the color change. However, most of us place the lamps on the table and sit next to us, so it's rare that you ever see a beautiful blue bowl. It looks dated and cracked but I think it's only blue paint because of the shine inside on the rocks. It's elegant, but not immediately noticeable as the thickness of the glass means it's just not bright enough, day or night.
