My laptop restarted in the middle of my work. I'm not a computer scientist, but I know enough not to. One day I received a message on my laptop that my hard drive might be corrupt. I had no idea what to do or why it was corrupted. At this point, the laptop was still on, but it took 5-10 minutes for each screen to load. When I got to my program, it ran for a while and then restarted. everything again. Due to financial reasons, urgent delivery of my laptop to computer doctors was not a priority. Something told me it would be better to back up my files for 7 years. I searched for Revain and found this flash drive as it was the cheapest with decent reviews. The day this flash drive arrived, I began the painstaking task of copying my laptop's files to this removable drive. It's been 2 days and many hours. This was because I could only copy so many files after which my computer restarted. It now takes me almost 30 minutes to start copying files again. At each start I checked the contents of the removable disk. Aha! It was copied to a flash drive. I was so happy to see that the USB stick didn't let me down at the crucial moment. I couldn't afford to lose things for years. I got to the last part of the copy, these were my photos. Out of the thousands, I got to the last 1500. Anything I copied, over 700 at a time, caused my laptop to reboot, and each time it rebooted it took longer to do anything. Something told me to just try and copy all 1500 photos at once. I'm glad I did. At 89% readiness the laptop freezes. The next time I turned it on it said my operating system was missing. I wasn't worried about the last 11% of my photos. I had SD cards with original photos lying around at home. I was so happy and excited that I heeded my first thought and bought this flash drive when I did. Also because I could literally back up everything. I was concerned although I still had to verify that all of my information was on the flash drive. She hit! This thing saved lives. Wow!
