I have an iPad mini 3. I bought it because I stay at home semi-regularly for someone who has a hot tub and I wanted to be in the Being able to read my iPad without fear of getting splattered. I did a fabric test beforehand (in cold water) and the fabric was completely dry. I have never submerged my iPad in water or even intentionally wet it because it is a jacuzzi and I didn't think it could be used in warm/hot water. But it did a great job of keeping it dry and the screen works as always. I will say it fits snugly and it can be a HUGE pain trying to get it out of your pocket.
