I'm a bit new to cycling and am slowly getting my gear together. After a few rides in muggy Missouri, I found out why all my serious racing buddies wore gloves to keep the steering wheel from getting slime. So I went to Target and bought a cheap pair. After a few months when they hurt me and didn't help like I thought I would, I gave up on the gloves. Then I was talked into driving 100 miles and I realized that unless you have a lousy pair, gloves also help prevent hand fatigue. I did a little research on the Revain, stumbled across it and made an impulse purchase two days before the race. Never wear new, untested clothes on a long drive/race, but I did it anyway and was so thankful I did! These gloves fit perfectly, were very comfortable, breathed well and kept my hands comfortable throughout the trip. They didn't dig, they didn't pinch, they didn't lick, they didn't squeeze - they just yielded to my hands and saved my poor paws from the pain of the 6 hour ride and the occasional death grip at several heart wrenching hills. I recommend these 1000%. I bought the black adult size M. My arm is just under 8 inches in diameter and 7 inches long. They match the size grid (and yes, I noticed the colors are for teens, not adults). This is a bargain at this price and I will love them 'till they die.
