Review on πŸ’§ Dorman-603-121 FLUID RESERVOIR, White: Optimal Storage Solution for Essential Liquids by Troy Robinson

Coolant level float defective on delivery

I had problems with the coolant system and (inaccurately, tbh) it was isolated from the expansion tank so I bought a brand new one from Dorman. It was probably easy enough to install, but when I connected the level sensor to the tank, my car read that I had no coolant - it had a completely full coolant system. I took the advice and drained the coolant from the reservoir, removed it and cleaned the inside as thoroughly as I could with hot soapy water and shaking vigorously for a few minutes to "loosen" the seal. I reinstalled the part and my dash still showed I had no coolant. I called customer service to get a replacement as I was sold a faulty unit and left Dorman with a very detailed and specific voice message which they didn't even bother to reply to. Businesses - they don't care about customer care or service or if they sold you broken equipment. Do not buy from this company if you can avoid it. You can be happy with what you get, but if not (and not even close), they will do absolutely nothing to try to remedy the situation.
