I like the bag itself. One of the reasons I bought it is because from the pictures I thought the two fake straps on the front are actually just snaps. It turns out it's a clip that's not difficult to use, but it does require two hands and you kind of have to focus on it. Leaving them open is not an option even though there is a zipper at the bottom because then they make a very loud and annoying clicking sound when you walk. The biggest disappointment, however, is the color. I bought a saddle and the bag I received is the saddle. But I chose this one because I still have a few Piel bags in my saddle. I know a match will never be perfect, but it's not a mismatch caused by different batches of paint. It's just a "saddle" in a different color. So it's disappointing that the same company can have such a different name under the same color. You would think that if they are making things that are meant to last, they would want you to be able to have continuity and add to what you have. Not in this case. Carrying this with my saddle-colored Piel duffel, garment bag, or messenger bag just looks weird—it's clearly not the same, but it's not different enough when it's a different color (if you know what I mean).
