First impression: Best toothbrush I have ever had.

First Impression Overview I have been a Phillips Sonicare customer for many years. I was very happy with it because it was the first true electric toothbrush I've ever had. The battery has been defective for 2 years and I've used it as long as I could but now I'm lucky if the charge lasts for a cleaning. So I've been looking for a replacement for a long time. A couple of times I almost got a different Sonic Care, but I decided to check out Oral-B. I was happy to see and a little surprised that this is the only ADA approved brush. When I saw this I read the reviews about what people think and most of the reviews are very positive. Some people complain that it's too hard, but I think it's perfect. I was always skeptical about the round nozzle, I thought the sonic style of care would clean better, but with the design of the nozzles and how to use it, one day I may see how it can clean better. When I looked for the Oral B I saw that it has 6 different speeds, I thought about getting a 3000 or a 5000 series but I admit I was intrigued by the positioning. So, with 6 different modes and position detection, I thought I'd buy this one. First, the cleanliness of my teeth. MARVELOUS. This brush cleans my teeth very well. I tried several modes with the brush and didn't find it too difficult for me. Coming from Sonic Care, I actually find the brush feel better when brushing my teeth. The roundness of the head makes it easy to change position to clean your teeth very well. I tried normal speed, deep cleaning speed, whitening speed, tongue cleaner. too hard for me teeth whitening This one really surprised me. I thought it might just slow the head down a bit or change the movement pattern a bit, but it starts out at a slow speed, then gradually speeds up to the max speed for that mode, then comes back to slow speed and switches speeds. all the time you clean. I can see how this can be really helpful as it changes the speed of brushing. position detection. A little disappointed in that. Love it, love that it has 2 more sections to help you brush your teeth. As you brush, the color of each section will change from dark blue to light blue, and then light blue to white. Yes, I need to read the instructions. Would you do that on the outside and top on the first pass, and on the inside and top on the second pass? If so, then the position definition could be a bit better in my opinion. Sometimes I remove the right side of my mouth and I do the same for the left side. I think it will get better with time. It's a bit useless, yes. I think if the brush didn't depend on your phone to use your camera and the brush had position sensors in the brush it would be a true position sensitive brush. But doesn't it seem so? If not, then what is the difference between this brush and other Bluetooth brushes? Why does only the 8000 have this feature? The advantages of the position sensor are that it helps ensure that you are brushing all parts of your teeth and that you are brushing long enough. Without detection, the default time is 2 minutes and the default value is 3 minutes. I think brushing my teeth is fun and I look forward to brushing them. I don't brush my teeth every day. I'm bad and the days I do it are usually just once. But I think it will help me get used to brushing my hair two or more times a day again. The pressure sensor works very well. I love how it changes color so you know if you're pressing your teeth too hard. Now for the timer. I also find Oral-B better than Sonic Care. At least the ones I have. When you turn on the brush, you will be prompted to change position every 3 seconds. Big. But it turns off after 2 minutes. Sometimes I feel like brushing a little longer because I want to focus on a specific part of my teeth. But after 2 minutes it goes off. When the time is up, Oral-B gives you an alert, clearly letting you know that the time is up, but then it keeps ticking so you can brush longer if you want. So, my first impression, the best brush. I will use it for a while and then update my review. All in all I think Oral-B is a great toothbrush. The cheaper ones probably work just as well as this one, but this one offers different modes that I think could be useful for me. So if you're looking for a new toothbrush and deciding between Sonic Care and Oral-B. I highly recommend Oral-B toothbrushes.
