I bought this particular poncho towel because my 3 year old son has a big head and some reviews of other towels mentioned that the hood opening was small. Overall a good towel. It is of good thickness and length. I really like the pockets and the large hood. This makes it easy for my son to keep warm after swimming lessons as he doesn't have to try to hold onto it like a regular towel. I see other kids in his class constantly dropping or dragging towels when they're shaking. My biggest problem with it, however, is the care instructions. Gentle machine wash and dry flat in the shade. I believe that all children's clothing should be machine washable/dry safe for sheer convenience and the fact that I don't have the extra time to try to follow the specific washing instructions for each item he owns. Also, the color choices aren't that great. I don't know many kids who are excited about beige.
