Review on Eyeglasses String Holder Strap Chain by Sean Copeland

Useful mounts at reasonable prices

I have had cataract surgery and need reading glasses, a cell phone, a computer or similar work. Otherwise I don't need glasses. That's why I need to keep my readers handy when I put them on and take them off. I have bought glasses stands three times. The first holders had small rubber loops around the narrow temples of my glasses that offered little support and allowed the glasses to slip from one side or the other at inopportune times. The second set (also by Sigonna) had thicker rubber loops to hold the temples in place, providing more friction and preventing the goggles from slipping off. Much better. I ordered current holders as they looked more comfortable than the narrower cords I had. They are well made from a wider soft fabric as you can see in the pictures. They ensure a secure hold by inserting the shackles into the ends of the holder on each side. The narrow opening and the inner grip surface ensure a secure hold. I find the thicker/softer material to be more comfortable than tighter cords or elasticated holders when using the slider to wrap the holder snugly around my head when doing activities where the goggles could slip off. On the other hand, for occasional use of the holder, such as shopping and checking labels, I find the heavier material bulkier around my ears than narrower cables. Since I use inexpensive universal readers, I mostly use a pair with narrower grips, but leave a pair with softer grips when I need a snug fit.
