Absolutely no reception! We bought a new house and there was a Sony Spacemaker radio (I know it's old, I think I've had it for almost 20 years but it worked great). When we moved in I didn't want to constantly edit the radio, so I gave it a try. I spent half an hour walking around the ground floor of my house trying to get reception on multiple stations, both AM and FM. There were only two places he actually worked, and neither of them felt comfortable leaving him on a regular basis. If you need a white noise generator this might be a good option, otherwise stay away.
