Annoying installation

I've applied a couple of screen protectors with no problems but this one proved very difficult. The fabric left fibers on the screen, making it difficult to clean. Then when I put the glass on and squeezed out the bubbles, the edges of the glass started chipping. It looks nice, but simply applying it has already caused wear and tear. The damage seems minor, but I'm already replacing it due to awkward, easily peeling (ie microglass) edges.
