The good thing is they are

I've seen these Puck lights at various stores and at Revain but I liked this one because the description said it was rechargeable. They are not rechargeable. Each runs on 3 AAA batteries or plugs into a power outlet or USB port on your PC. However, they won't charge if you plug them in and expect to unplug them and use them without batteries, so I thought that was misleading. Once we're done with that detail, I'll talk about the product as a whole. There are 8 pucks in this set. 4 of them are light and 4 are warm. None of them are labeled so you have to try to figure out which 4 are which. After that, you want to tag them. Lights are good for small spaces or really dark rooms, but they don't light up the room, more like a closet/pantry/or under my son's bed where I have no idea anything is alive. Two remotes are good and can control multiple lights at once (if all are within range) or individual lights if spread across multiple. Not sure if the batteries I'm using (rechargeable because previous experience tells me these lights are battery powered) will last 90 hours but we'll see. I like that they can produce different colors and different brightnesses, but wish they had a bit of memory instead of having to adjust them to the light you want each time you turn them on. As mentioned above my 7 year old currently uses some of these under his bed for adventures so at least he uses them. I'll see how long the batteries last before trying them elsewhere in the house.
