I ordered the wrong case for the tablet that came t380 so there is that for the t290. Overall, however, this product turned out to be better than expected. You have 2 front cover options: with and without thin plastic screen protector. As a rule, it should protect against splashes, falls and common problems, although it is not waterproof. Protected from rain and general use? Probably. Throw in a bucket of water? Water damage will probably withstand it. This is a totally shockproof case that protects your expensive tablet. I wish I had a t295 to test it out but I don't have it. Well done to the people who designed and made this case.
