Pestle & Mortar is a brand from Ireland. Love how simple and clear the packaging looks, simple black and white design! I received the product opened and found that the aluminum paper was opened, there was some leakage, but it can be used! This is truly a divine luxury cleanser that's like a mini facial. It's a sheer, slippery balm texture, but not very greasy on the skin, so don't be shy if you hate oils on your skin. It literally melts into your skin as you massage it in and removes all makeup, including heavy eye makeup. You can see what I tried. I put sunscreen, liquid foundation, lipstick, eyeliner and brow pencil on my hands! The texture of this cleanser is semi-solid, like chilled olive oil. You only need very little, it basically melts away as you massage it onto your face. So I followed the massage and washed my face. The face afterwards was so smooth and tender. Normally, after washing, the skin appears tight and dry. Not this cleaner. It leaves my skin clean, hydrated and overall feeling refreshed. This is an amazing cleanser because my skin is so soft and smooth. It's also hydrated, which makes me very happy. I have to say that I am a fan of this product so far!
