I bought a wallet with Porto Vino wine as a Christmas present. It arrived on time but I had an issue with the wallet smell as some other people have pointed out. Porto Vino customer service contacted me to see if I was happy with my purchase. I replied that I liked the handbag but it smelled. Monica from customer service apologized and told me she understands that this happens with some bags that are wrapped in protective plastic wrap after the manufacturing process. She suggested I either return it or use an odor eliminator called OdoBan and put a small container in my purse for the day. I then noticed a small defect on the purse handle where there was a black spot on the brown leather handle of the purse. I contacted Monica from customer service and sent her a photo of the defect. She apologized and agreed that the purse was indeed defective. Due to previous concerns about the smell and then a blemish, she offered to express me another wallet before Christmas. She also told me that since I provided a photo of the defect, I didn't need to return the defective wallet and that I could keep it. She made my life so easy! The wallet was supposed to arrive on Christmas Eve but I received a new wallet today (two days early) and it's perfect. Thank you PortoVino! You have a gem in customer service in Monica! I appreciate your quick resolution of the issue and I know the purse recipient will be delighted with the gift. The purse is very well made. The skin is beautiful; tasteful lining material. It offers ample space for all your belongings like wallet, keys, phone, cosmetics, glasses, etc. The way the insulated zippered compartment hides the liquid filling pouch makes this bag perfect for you. Use the bag proudly even if you haven't used it to carry drinks! I like it!
