Review on Chic Home Embroidery Collection Comforter by Shauna Kennedy

I made a terrible decision to purchase this comforter. You can literally feel the foam like rubber in the middle of the fabric, it doesn't even have decent even stitching to keep it from separating and clumping inside. It hasn't even been used or washed and looks lumpy due to the awful insulation-like foam. The only seam is about 3 inches long in random sections of fabric in short spots and looks very unprofessional. The whole kit looks and feels very cheap and of poor quality, although it may look so nice in the photo. I am sure that after washing it will only be suitable for the dustbin. It is very light and due to the foam insulation used, you don't feel cozy warmth, but sweat a lot underneath. (I ordered 2 which were identical except for the colour, the 2nd was completely destroyed after a wash where the squeaky foam was a large ball that stuck together and couldn't be separated). Sheets, pillowcases are just as bad. In addition, after the 2nd wash, threads were pulled everywhere). PLEASE don't waste your money on this and don't let your loins fool you. (I just bought a different brand duvet set that is almost all cotton (which is half the price of this set and the quality is 100% better!. The entire duvet has fine strong stitching, it's double sided and so amazing soft comfortable and great I love everything about it I washed it when it arrived and the colors stayed vibrant no bleeding no loose threads no squeaks no lumps of insulation which is actually more like a good fabric that not will you wake up drenched in sweat.) If you are looking for a duvet please check for stitching, fabric and insulation and if you get something like this return it before it's too late.Don't make the same mistake as I.
