BEST ADVICE. Use Sensodyne or Crest Sensitivity Toothpaste a few days or a week before using these strips! BELIEVE ME! It seals the small pores in your teeth that cause sensitivity to heat and cold, drastically reducing any discomfort you experience from peroxide. I've used a few lightening strips in the past but nothing that hasn't bothered me. after applying for a week and not seeing any result. So I was excited to finally join the crowd to try it out. First, Revain is less than half the price of a Pharmacy, so everyone who buys it here is doing it! Both pharmacies in my area (Chicago) had the same ones for over $60 for the same 12 month supply which includes 4 sets of strips (4 for up, 4 for down). Second, the application is very simple. They are sticky and not all sticky like other products. I didn't notice much of a difference right after the extraction, but this morning some of my teeth that were annoyingly yellow are at least half as yellow! HOORAY! About an hour into the procedure, I noticed some sensitivity in my lower teeth. I took off the strips, brushed my teeth lightly and went to bed. I woke up with significantly more sensitivity! It's not uncontrollable and I can speak, eat and drink normally, but it's definitely uncomfortable. FYI, I took 5 Tylenol too! My friend said she used Sensodyne a few days before using these strips and for the days that followed and it really helped with the pain. So I'll take her advice (because it makes sense) and test these strips again, maybe 4-5 days later to continue the whitening process. I'm sure I will see a big difference after using all 4 sets for a month. I'll get back to you ;) Just be patient and use Sensodyne or toothpaste for sensitivity. I really think Cross is up to something, so don't give up when you're in pain. Just do a little prep work. Believe me!
