These are nice hooks for your vinyl fencing, but they will not fit on a picket fence since the attachment is too wide. I am nervous about them rusting over time, due to weather elements, but I have not had any issues yet. The hooks are sturdy, but I would not put too heavy of weight on them as they may start to bend. I got these for my string lights to help hang them on my fence line. It’s as easy as hanging it over your fence and then attaching whatever you want onto the hooks. They would be great for lightweight hanging plants or a number of other uses. The pack came with 24 pieces which seem like a lot but not for what I needed them for. I would highly recommend this product based on its quality, value, and design.
