I found the Paraben Stick gave too many false positives to justify the price. In the settings, I turned the slider down to 60-65%, which I think makes sense for reducing the number of false positives when trying to find the images I want. However, the paraben software still considers a large number of false positives to be suspicious. After processing, the found images are placed in three folders. The low suspicious folder contains literally thousands upon thousands of images and symbols, which in my experience are always false positives. Therefore, it seems that this folder can simply be ignored. Two other folders (suspicious and highly suspicious) find the desired images. However, these two folders are also cluttered with numerous false positives. It literally seems like it just puts every single image, icon, album cover, etc. into folders for the user to view. When searching for videos, it simply considers any video found on your hard drive as suspicious and then adds them to the list by name. However, anyone can search for images and videos themselves for free by simply opening Windows Explorer and clicking on the appropriate search drive, then typing "view:image" or "view:video" in the search box. You can then view the images and videos yourself, just like with the paraben software. I should also mention that the paraben software takes an unusually long time to process. For example, a single 1TB hard drive took about eight hours to process, while the Windows Explorer option takes just a few minutes. It seems logical that the Paraben Stick could come in handy if you have a bunch of computing devices that need to be sifted through. However, I see no justification for the price if you are only looking for a few pieces.
