Surprised by the negative reviews. No wonder you need to assemble it. This is not beautiful furniture. But it's useful furniture. If you know how to use a screwdriver you can assemble this. If you don't know how to use a screwdriver, you could be in big trouble. I put it together myself; It took about 2 hours but I took my time. All parts were labeled and were fairly easy to assemble. Just pay attention to a few things, like making sure the tiny holes are in the back and not the front. Check out the pictures if you are not sure. I had to redo the drawer because there is a drawer stop hole that goes to the back. This isn't mentioned until the crate is complete, so keep that in mind. In general I am satisfied with the purchase.
