I have different ASICS and not all fit my shoe size (10). I love the look of these shoes, although I don't usually buy black "sneakers". They're just really cool and I was really looking forward to them, but now I'm mad and I'm going to send them back. At first I almost couldn't get my foot in, even the laces were as loose as they could go. I bought LOCK Laces for a couple of pairs of laces and I love them but they don't stretch so I just couldn't get more room to put them on. Need a shoehorn, at least for me. These damn things used to be really snug - they're tight. You can't really be a size 10. I own too many other shoes including ASICS in this size to compare. I need a width of at least 10.5 to be able to wear them and they are not wide and I need maybe 11. I understand well fitting shoes are best for trail running or just hiking. but that's not all, they're just too small. However, they may fit well for some normal height people. Every foot is different, but as I have other shoes my size that vary widely in length and width, these shoes are an anomaly. Will I bother trying them out on the 11th? I really like the look of them and I might, but these 10's are certainly making a comeback and I have to decide while I'm packing them up if I'm going to risk a second disappointment if the 11's are also too tight. In any case, you might want to go up half a size. I don't think most people would be sorry.
