The cover was shiny, just how it said it would be in the description. A dry towel can effectively remove fingerprints from almost any surface. The dimensions came dangerously close to those of the MacBook Air M1 2022 model. Because the bottom panel does not have a snug fit, it can allow dust to accumulate (picture). There is nothing paranormal about these two patch panels; they are composed of hard plastic. If you drop it, there is nothing that can be done to help you, but it will keep you from getting scratches. The top panel already had a chip (picture) and a few blemishes when it was delivered to the customer. Because of this reason, I did not issue a return. It was a present to myself, and the scratches on the shiny finish do not detract from its overall appearance.
