Ok I bought the opt 7 boat kit on the 30th June and found it easy to install. Unfortunately, corrosion on the connectors disabled the flashlight after only a few months. When it comes to a boat kit, think that it is corrosion resistant. In any case, I contacted tech support as the warranty was available. After 17 emails my light is still not working. I'm not sure if their tech support is qualified to provide support. Yes, I have sent the photos to the support request and they are asking for it again. They said to turn off the lights as this is a safety issue now. I turned off the power with a picture of the shutdown, they are still asking for pictures. Again 17 emails and several weeks of conversations and no indication that lightbulbs or plugs will be replaced. So the main thing is that the headlights are cold and work until the onset of corrosion. Connections. But it seems the ad says waterproof. The warranty department sucks!
