Review on Bose QuietComfort 35 (Series II) Wireless Headphones - Noise Cancelling, Alexa Voice Control - Black - Renewed Version - Worldwide Shipping by Adam Kotowski ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Money down the drain, poor quality product.

I was going to try to get my money back so I could get a Sony, but after reading the reviews I chose to wait out the storm by the water instead. In conclusion, I'd like to state that, at the present time, it is both monetarily IMPOSSIBLE and POINTLESS to purchase headphones (as soundproofing). Some people have reported that the issue has not affected them, but would you be willing to risk $20,000 on the off chance that you're right? Currently, if you submit the headphones in under warranty, the manufacturer will recognise the issue and send a replacement. However, the headphones ship with a simple, older firmware version on which the noise reduction likewise fails entirely when ating. ! If you already own a pair of QC35 II headphones and their firmware is lower than 4.5.2, you should uninstall the bosecomnnect app right away (or pretend it doesn't exist), and keep an eye on the forum thread at /Firmware-4-5-2-QC35-ii/td-p/213820 in the hopes that someone there has found a solution. The general public should not buy (!) at this time.

Pros
  • I used to be able to say without a doubt that headphones are money well spent. In my opinion, this is the finest option available at the moment due to a number of elements coming together. They are my home, literally. Each day, I begin by donning them, and each night, I remove them. That's how: with noise. The audio quality is fine; no one has any issues with it. (You may adjust the bass levels in your device's settings menu if you feel like there isn't enough. In the same location, I highly recommend activating the spatial sound simulation. - Based on how they make you feel when wearing them. The earbuds are feathery and snug in the ear. On a daily basis, I spend 10 hours or more in my. It is impossible for your ears to ache, weary, or perspire. Time spent in the office. If I'm not mistaken, the maker states that it lasts for 20 hours. After a day of light use, I have reason to suspect that this is the case. I can't give a more accurate time because I charge it overnight. Simple operation. Turning off the voice prompts in the Bose app (you don't need them, trust me) and assigning the noise reduction control to the button (on the left ear) rather than the assistant is my top recommendation. I can use a computer and listen to music at the same time, and if a phone call comes in, the sound will automatically switch to the headphones. The mic is in perfect working order. (I've read that some people are unhappy about this; myself, I have no issues with it at all.)
Cons
  • Until lately, I would have said that headphones are definitely worth the money. To my knowledge, this is the optimal combination of factors currently available. They are my home, literally. Each day, I begin by donning them, and each night, I remove them. That's how: with noise. There have been zero complaints about the audio quality. (The bass levels can be adjusted in the sound devicecomntrol panel if necessary. In the same location, I highly recommend activating the spatial sound simulation. - Based on how they make you feel when wearing them. The earbuds are feathery and snugly fit in the ear. You can disable the speech prompts in the Bose app (you won't need them) and assign the noise reduction control to the left ear button instead of the assistant. It's handy that I can use two devices at once, as I can listen to music while working on my computer and receive phone calls without interrupting my flow of thought. The mic is in perfect working order. (I know that some people have gripes with this, but I can think of no issues with it at all)
