I have a huge head (even larger men's hats tend to be too small) and was looking for a wide brimmed hat for a summer vacation by the river and this is the first hat I've ever bought that fits properly too big and wide enough to completely shade my face and neck. Super comfy and packaged - I was able to reshape it fairly quickly despite being dented in the bottom of a beach bag for part of the trip. Although it appeared to be made out of some sort of synthetic material, it was actually lightweight and breathable. I happily carried it during my trip and I'm glad I bought it. I'm only taking off one star because towards the end of the trip the elastic that comes with the hat to hold it in place broke. It was easy to fix but should have been fixed better. Since the fields are made of thin wire, I'm also interested in how long it lasts. Anyway, I think I've tried pretty much every "big" wide-brimmed women's hat at Revain and this is the best I've had. found so far. So I would buy it again despite the small quality defects.
