Review on 🌿 Schmidt's Aluminum Free Natural Deodorant: Lavender & Sage, 24 Hour Odor Protection, Certified Natural, Vegan, Cruelty Free 3.25 oz by Kristen Green

I suffered severe skin burns from only using it for two days in a row. I had previously used another natural deodorant that worked well but not very well, so I switched to this one on a friend's recommendation. It smells nice, but shortly after applying it I felt a strong burning sensation in my armpits. I showered and tried again the next day, just thinking my somewhat sensitive skin might need to relax more slowly. The second day the pain was so bad. My skin got red, swollen and just kept pinching for days after I stopped using it. I have attached a photo from a week after my first and second use. The skin is still affected and is starting to peel off. I've done a lot of research on what could be causing this and it seems this isn't an uncommon problem at all. The ingredient baking soda affects many people with sensitive skin. I don't understand why a manufacturer would use an ingredient that is known to cause problems in humans. If you have sensitive skin, this deodorant is probably not for you! PS - it's quite thick and lumpy. It does not roll smoothly and easily. It's like a thicker paste. I wouldn't recommend it at all until they replace the baking soda with a less irritating ingredient.
