Review on Wireless Keyboard Numeric Computer Desktop by Bryce Marshall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love it. for computers and accessories

I bought this set to replace a prehistoric Logitech keyboard and mouse combo I bought on FB Marketplace for $5 to use on my old PC to use, which is now connected to the television in my living room. This combination is so old that the mouse wasn't even optical, it still had the ball inside it. Needless to say, it had terrible range. You had to be about 2 feet from the TV to use the mouse and keyboard. This combo doesn't have any range issues here, and I noticed last night that there's a DPI button on the mouse! It's in the description, but I didn't notice it. This is fortunate, as the default DPI setting combined with the huge 50-inch TV the PC is plugged into makes for tedious mouse use. Now you can easily move the cursor around the screen. My wife didn't care at first and didn't see anything special as the old combo technically worked, but the first time she used it she fell in love with it. She really liked that it came with a thin rubber coating over the keys to keep dirt and liquids from getting on the keyboard (damn kids and pets), and she kept it meticulously clean. In terms of durability, the keyboard has recently withstood hits on the coffee table so hard that a few keys were knocked out (no, that wasn't me), and also the battery cover stopped latching properly and showed no signs of being pulled through Has. Everything still works. So childproof I guess? The battery life seems really good so far. This combo is still on the first set, which isn't surprising given the short time I've had, but it's significantly better compared to the old combo that ate the battery in about a week and a half. Both the mouse and keyboard are pretty quiet too. I wouldn't say it's quiet, but it's barely audible in a fairly quiet room, especially with a rubber keyboard cover. In general I am very satisfied. UPDATE: The keyboard is dead. I might have thought about the batteries, but the new ones didn't help. I do NOT blame the keyboard, there was an angry person in my house who smashed it on the coffee table which probably killed them, it just took a while. I plan to buy another one as soon as I can afford it. UPDATE 2: Bought another one. Works great. And I swear, somehow the build quality of this second combo seems better than the first.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
