Review on Sachi Organics Buckwheat Cylinder Pillow by Lindsey Jones

Good adjustability - skeptical of travel use

Good quality lid, fresh buckwheat hulls. After adjusting the amount of buckwheat husk (i.e. removing some of the husk) I was able to get almost the perfect height and stiffness I wanted. Finally! I rummaged through many pillows to get to this point. However, I have two criticisms: 1) If your idea of what's good for travel doesn't include a lot of room for buckwheat hulls (maybe!), I don't see how portable this is. No matter how much you stuff it, you are limited to that amount when packing. If you like a softer/flatter pillow you'll find it much easier to pack. If you like a firmer/higher profile pillow, don't save packing space by using this pillow over a foam or latex shard pillow. It doesn't really matter to me, but maybe to you. 2) After I removed the required amount of buckwheat hulls, the pillow became "chubby" on the sides. In other words, when I put my head on the pillow, my head and neck are very comfortable, however, the buckwheat husk is pushed to opposite ends of the pillow and then lifts up. You can think of them as headphones. I do not like it. It's not a hot deal, but if I could get a smaller diameter version of the same pillow (let's say 3 or 4 inches instead of 6 inches) this problem would be solved and I would sleep more comfortably. Overall a great pillow and I'm glad I bought it.
