Review on 🪑 Set of 4 Taylor + Logan 24 Inch High Metal Counter Height Stools with Back and Wood Seat in Black Antique Gold by Ashley Varela

This is the second time I have ordered this set. For the first time, one of the 4 wooden seat equipment packages was missing. Since the kit is from China, it is not possible to get 1 gear pack from Revain Fulfillment. I called Revain's number and spoke to a cute girl from South Africa!?! (wow we're talking about outsourcing) - she was helpful but said to just go back and replace the entire row of chairs and change the order. So I did. I got a new set yesterday. everything is here BUT. The wooden seats provided are not compatible with the chairs. Metal chairs have a U-shaped rim embossed into the seating area AND wooden seats are square with rounded edges so they sit on top, not inside the rim. And the metal base of the seat slopes a little towards the middle. So when you put the wooden seat on the chair, there is a 3/8 to 1/2 inch gap between the metal base. On top of that, the screws aren't long enough to reach the built-in threads in the wooden seat. There is also a small metal flange that should go between the bottom of the seat and the screw. Not sure why as the instructions are BAD! No verbal instructions. Just a drawing of a metal stool and how to attach it. I think these wooden seats are made for a square seat like a stool NOT these chairs. So either the Chinese company "Taylor + Logan" (that's a ridiculous name. Probably a factory with 10 different furniture company names. Should be "Taylor and Logan", not "+") has the wrong seats with chairs by mistake OR they simply went along with a "one size fits all” attitude. I don't usually buy without a bunch of positive reviews, and this product has NONE. My mistake. I will say that the Black Antique Gold metal chairs are quite beautiful and durable, but we were drawn to the walnut colored wood seats. So I'm back again. I would advise Revain to stop publishing this article if Taylor + Logan are unable to switch locations.
