Works great in the hallway
Even with the automatic setting, some of the light stays on all the time. For me that is a problem. I wouldn't use it in the bedroom because I think the light that stays on is too bright. When motion is detected, the second light turns on and gets much brighter. It's fairly motion sensitive but wouldn't turn on when my dog walked past it. For me it was a plus. The dog feels comfortable without additional light. I have a light in a dark hallway and I think it will work well there. It would probably fit in a closet.
