Although the description says diameter, it was actually larger than I thought. It is a good 7 inches tall and offers more than enough space for a lot of utensils. The color was exactly like in the picture. I had to return another one I ordered as it was more turquoise than blue. I wanted light blue but couldn't find it at Revain. Everything seems more turquoise so I went for navy blue and I'm glad I did. Also, this item was packaged very well. I thought I made a mistake and bought maybe 3 of these because they came in such a huge box, but the box within the huge box was completely wrapped in bubble wrap and then the pot was completely wrapped in the box so it was took their time with packing . This is to ensure it doesn't break.
