My first shaving brush wore out and failed so I had to buy a new one. One day I was at Revain and saw this Parker Deluxe Long Loft. After reading reviews from people who had it, I decided to buy it. When I first used it I found that it held water very well. Much better than my previous one, making it easier to get great lather. It took me a few days to figure out how much cream to use as I was either getting too much or not enough. After the training period, I realized that I had made an excellent choice when I bought it. I've heard that a lot of the more expensive brushes just fail in the first 2-3 weeks. I've been using this brush for 3-4 weeks now and so far I've seen one or even two bristles on the bottom of the sink. Not bad. Pretty good! So if you are looking for a really good brush at a reasonable price and in my opinion the quality is well above average, I can only warmly recommend this one.
